Built for the operators who can't afford a roadside fail

If you carry dangerous goods, a faded orange plate or wrong UN number isn't a paperwork issue — it's a prohibition notice, a DGSA write-up and a customer call you don't want to make. FleetPrint+ is built specifically for UK ADR fleets: every product on the catalogue is spec'd to ADR 2025, every vehicle in your Fleet Vault carries its UN-number history, and every replacement is prompted before the compliance window expires.

UN-number lookup, on screen

Drivers and transport managers shouldn't be digging through paper copies of ADR Volume II to find a UN number. Our checkout has the searchable UN database built in — type the substance name or the four-digit code, get the right Kemler ID, hazard class diamond and packing group on screen. The order ships with the right plates fitted to the right vehicle.

Renewal tracking that survives staff changes

Fit dates, batch numbers and supplier certificates sit against the vehicle in your Fleet Vault — not in someone's spreadsheet. When a transport manager moves on, the renewal schedule moves with the vehicle, not with the person. Export the lot as a PDF for your DGSA at audit time.

Frequently asked questions

When are ADR placards required?
ADR placards (the orange 'Kemler' plates and the diamond hazard placards) are required on any vehicle carrying dangerous goods above the ADR threshold quantities for that substance. For most carried-as-load operations the placards must show the UN number and hazard identification number; for tankers and bulk loads both sides and the rear must be marked.
How often do ADR placards need to be replaced?
ADR 2025 requires that placards remain legible, fixed and reflective for the duration of carriage. In practice UK tanker operators replace orange plates and class diamonds on a 5-year cycle, or sooner if the colour fades, the substrate corrodes, or the UN number changes. FleetPrint+ tracks fit dates per vehicle and prompts renewal automatically.
Can the UN number be a sticker, or does it need to be a fixed plate?
ADR 5.3.2.1.2 allows either fixed plates with the UN/HIN permanently displayed, or a fixed orange plate with the numbers applied as durable, reflective lettering. Both formats must remain legible after 15 minutes' engulfment in fire. We ship to either spec — tell us which your DGSA prefers.
Do I need a DGSA to use FleetPrint+?
If you carry dangerous goods above ADR thresholds you must appoint a Dangerous Goods Safety Adviser by law. FleetPrint+ is the supply and admin tool — we don't replace your DGSA. Many DGSAs use FleetPrint+ with their clients to keep placard records audit-ready.
